CREATING PATTERNS IN PHOTOSHOP

In this session we created digital patterns in photoshop using a variety of pattern tools and brush strokes. Firstly I photographed two objects (sea shell,starfish)and opened them in photoshop, this is where I was able to enhance the image and crop the image using a  rectangular marque tool.Once the image was selected I defined to a pattern which then repeated the image creating a simple pattern. With the pattern I was able to experiment using other visual effects and the opacity tool. 

I believe the techniques used to create digital patterns in this session will be very influential in future fashion and textile projects, such as creating patterns for textile prints. It's a good way of creating interesting patterns through simple pattern tools on photoshop.
